Code of Professional Behaviour

The Code of Professional Behaviour (the Code) is designed as a framework for self-regulation. Its aim is to foster public confidence in research and to demonstrate that activities carried out by Members are carried out in a professional and ethical manner.

All Research Society Members and Company and Client Partners must comply with the Code. It applies to the professional activities of Members and Partners.

Company and Client Partner organisations are required to ensure that all individuals employed or engaged by them (whether Research Society Members or not) comply with this Code as if they are Members.

An updated Code of Professional Behaviour (the Code) was launched on 2 March 2020.
