Taverner Research is a fully independent, full service Australian owned company that has been conducting high quality customised research for a diverse range of government agencies and commercial clients since 1991. Our principal, Philip Mitchell-Taverner has been a key player in the industry for over 40 years. The services we provide range from high level consulting with large scale methodology and strategic analysis through to data collection and desk research.

Taverner's data collection facility has served the industry for over 15 years and operates from our head office. We have Australia wide coverage, are fully accredited to ISO 20252 (IQCA equivalent for full service research agencies), use best practice methodologies and employ the latest technology. Key Personnel

Philip Mitchell-Taverner (Managing Director) is an active fellow of the industry and has over 40 years experience in Market and Social Research in Australia. Philip's focus on providing high quality research with the highest standards of professional ethics permeates throughout the company.

Michael Trigwell (General Manager) has a background in strategic marketing and management and is involved with the majority of our B2B and consumer clients. Michael's clients value his ability to ensure that research findings become actionable and deliver answers to business problems. Michael has overall responsibility for the running of the business and to ensure that quality results driven research is delivered for every project.

Connie Jansen (Senior Research Director) is based in Canberra and is a leading researcher in Taverner’s Government and Social Research division. Connie has a well earned reputation managing and reporting major research assignments for government organisations. 

Dr Don Porritt (Senior Research Director) has over 30 years experience specialising in statistical analysis and research design with a focus on Social and Government. Don's practical experience and strong academic background adds value to all our clients.

Sophie Philps (Field Operations Manager) manages our phone and face-to-face data collection teams.
