Quantum is a boutique market research agency with a finger firmly on the pulse of ever-changing attitudes, behaviours and cultural trends across Australia. When you work with Quantum, we’ll take you on a journey that will ultimately inform you with rich insights, surprising answers, clear direction and a strong vision.

Working across multiple industries from agriculture to premium services to automotive to financial services to government to tourism to not-for-profit and so on, we cover both consumer and business to business audiences and all types of research methods (qualitative, quantitative, ethnography, cultural trends) using all available channels (online, telephone, face to face, mobile apps). All data is housed at Quantum on-shore, we have our own data and digital team who design our surveys and ensure data is of the highest quality. We are equipped with sophisticated software and have expertise in-house to design and deliver advanced analytics and ensure these are tailored to directly address any challenge.

We make it our mission to present our findings in an accessible and well-designed way so you can make considered commercial and strategic decisions. Our expertise extends to activation of research insights via workshops, customer immersion, journeys and strategic planning sessions.

Our evolution began in 1969 and today is stronger than ever. We have measured Australian cultural trends for over 20 years, via our proprietary approach, AustraliaSCAN (asking 2,000 Australians to complete our national survey).The only research of its kind in Australia is tailored to the very tricky task of measuring ‘culture’.

The combined results offer a long-term, in-depth, understanding of Australian society, what the established and emerging cultural trends are, and how they manifest in any given category. Our clients use it to get a better understanding of the ‘bigger picture’. We are available to present cultural trends in Australian and how we have been changing over the past 25 years.
