Turbo Training - Connected Thinking: Mind maps for planning, analysis and creativity in research
Mind mapping is a powerful technique to cut through mental clutter and summarise key ideas, without losing sight of the big picture. This process of creating a connected visual and verbal map can be applied to activities including planning and analysis, learning and remembering, creative thinking and as a springboard for innovation.
In this 30-minute Turbo Training session, Lucy Blakemore will run a hands-on session where you can try out the basics of mind mapping. The session includes:
- Examples of how to use mind maps in research and everyday life
- A quick guide to mind mapping rules
- Hands-on practice creating your own maps with paper and pen
You’ll walk away having created 2-3 mind maps of your own, and a bunch of ideas for using mind maps in your work, study or other interests.
