Data Analytics workshop - Melbourne

28th Oct 20

Data Analytics Workshop For Consumer Insights

These workshops are suitable for mainstream quantitative practitioners and users of research who are interested in broadening their understanding of the usage and application of analytics in marketing research and consumer insights.

The workshop will commence with a focus on the centrality of problem definition, framing and formulation as a key foundational step in the research design process, ahead of the selection of any analytic technique and associated data sources.

Central will be a focus on a range of categories of analytic techniques – when to use, what they are, pitfalls, outcomes, alternatives. The intention is to familiarise participants with these techniques so they are much more versed in them upon completing the workshop than before. Examples of techniques covered include but are not limited to data reduction techniques, segmentation and classification techniques, conjoint and choice-based trade-off methods, and regression and other driver techniques.

A case study approach will be adopted, in which different real-world commercial case studies will be shared in order to demonstrate the use and application of various techniques.
